On Saturday, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) in Mandaluyong City, cementing the distribution of this much-needed financial assistance.
The involvement of the DMW showcases their dedication to ensuring the welfare of OFWs, as the Department works tirelessly to protect the rights and promote the wellbeing of Filipino migrants.
The OWWA, on the other hand, has long been committed to providing services and support to OFWs and their families through various welfare programs, including financial assistance, skills training, and repatriation assistance.
Migrant Workers Secretary Susan “Toots” Ople expressed her gratitude to the DSWD for their role in providing this cash aid, as directed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

To prove their link with the afflicted company, claimants must show valid identification and evidence of their connection with the employer in Saudi Arabia.
OWWA Administrator Arnaldo Arevalo “Arnel” Ignacio stated that claimants can follow the instructions on the DMW website to get their cash aid, making the process straightforward and accessible.
