Are you ready for this year’s BooksForLess Bookstore’s Warehouse Sale?
Well, you must be, because thousands of books will be up for grabs for only Php 20 each!
When?
The BooksForLess Warehouse Sale will be happening from August 1 to 31, 2017, EXCEPT August 7, 14, 21 and 28. The warehouse is open from 10AM to 6PM.
Where?
It will be held at the 643 Frankfurt St. Mercedes Avenue San Miguel, Pasig (in front of La Consolacion College).
The BooksForLess Warehouse Sale is available for almost one month, so, mark your calendars and don’t dare miss this big booksale event if you want to buy books at a very affordable price.
Imagine, if you have Php 100, you can buy 5 books already. How’s that???
Or, if you have a higher budget, let’s say Php 1,000, then you’ll take home 50 books!
If you’re not much of a book reader, then you can give these books as gifts to your family members, friends, and even to your Godchildren on Christmas.
You can also donate these books to charities and other causes. I’m sure they’ll appreciate you and your gifts and it’ll be a fulfilling feeling for you to share your blessings to others.
What to Expect at the BooksForLess Warehouse Sale?
Aside from you’ll be seeing tons of books at the booksale, there will also be a lot of people there. And since it’s in a warehouse, it might be hot in the area.
So here are some of my tips for you…
1. Wear light and comfortable clothes. Don’t go there wearing sweater or thick and super tight clothes or you’ll end up sweating.
2. If you’re planning to buy plenty of books, bring huge eco bags or boxes or a luggage bag.
3. Since you might spend hours choosing books, make sure to bring water and light snacks in case you get hungry.
4. You might find books that are in perfect condition, but don’t expect that all of the available books on sale are the same. Some might have torn pages or dirty covers.
If you like the content of the book but it isn’t in good condition, then, it’s up to you to decide if you’ll get it or if you’ll just move on and find another one.
Remember, that these books are randomly arranged so it might be challenging to find a similar book in the warehouse.
5. Don’t spend too much time reading or checking the book’s content. If you like the topic or author and you’re good with the condition of the book, place it in your ecobag or box, then make your final choices of the books that you want to buy later.
6. Since there are a lot of people in the warehouse, make sure to attend to your personal belongings and always be aware of your surroundings.
7. If possible, go there with a friend or a family member. It’s more fun to choose books with a buddy. If you go there with your kid or kids, make sure to always look after them and never let them choose books alone while you’re busy choosing your own books too.
This scares me, but it’s good to be aware that potential thieves or budol-budol or kidnappers might be hanging around the area. So, let’s all keep ourselves safe.
8. Don’t bring your gadgets and lots of cash. Just bring what’s enough or bring extra for the books that you want to buy at the warehouse sale.
9. Don’t try to buy all the books you want in just one day if you can’t. Remember, this booksale is available in the entire month of August. You can go back there if you want to buy more.
Don’t buy books that look good or that other people are interested in, but you would neither read or give away. It will just add up as clutter in your space at home.
10. Check the maps and directions going to the venue, so you won’t end up getting lost.

We went to the BooksForLess Warehouse Sale on the first day of August and obviously, there were many people there. Btw, we went there to buy books for my daughter.
Btw, we went there to buy books for my daughter. She’s been saving coins and just before we went to the warehouse sale, we broke her piggy bank. Her savings was really intended to buy her books. In fact it’s already her third year of savings and going to the booksale.
We were able to buy 30 books for her and that was worth P600 only. I also bought 5 books for myself. We did it in just an hour and I wished we stayed longer but we had limited time. There was heavy traffic in the area and we didn’t want my husband to go to work late so we chose books as fast as we could. We’re planning to go back there before the booksale ends on August 31.
The booksale is available the entire month of August 2017. They replenish their books everyday so they will not run out of good books to choose from. If you want to find books for yourself or for your kids, I highly recommend you visit the BooksForLess Warehouse Sale for some good finds.
