Our family visited 14 churches today as we recite the Stations of the Cross. It is our first time to do this with the whole family and we’re blessed that God made this possible for us.

Last year, I and my husband visited 15 churches in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Two among the 14 churches that we visited today were in our previous list including the Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, which is our home parish and the Transfiguration of our Lord Parish, which is near our place as well.
If you’re from Quezon City or anywhere in Metro Manila and you’re planning to go on Visita Iglesia this Holy Week, you can go visit these churches.
I suggest you bring bottled water, face towel, fan, umbrella, and extra shirt because the weather is really hot these days. It would also be better if you have a companion as you visit churches.
And since the real meaning and purpose of Visita Iglesia is to commemorate and reflect on Jesus’ suffering, make sure to bring a copy of the Stations of the Cross for you to recite.
If you don’t have time or resources to visit 7 or 14 churches, you can visit one church and recite the stations of the cross in the same church.
And of course, let’s show our love to the Lord by helping and serving others especially those who are in need. Let’s ask forgiveness for all our sins and let’s thank the Lord for saving us and for everything that he has done for us.
