The 7017 Islands Placement & Promotions, Inc. is currently pooling for 50 English Teachers for employment in Zheng Zhou Henan, China. This is a project of Best International School and this is for School Year 2017 (September / October deployment).
This is open to both Filipino male and female applicants, 22 years old and above, with at least a bachelor’s degree, and with two years teaching experience.
Applicants for Main Teachers or those who will handle Pre-School, Elementary, and Language Centers, two salary offers are available including:
- Those who have finished a Bachelor’s Degree will be offered a starting basic salary of CNY 3600 or PHP 26,000.
- Those who have Masters Degree will be offered a starting basics salary of CNY 3900 or PHP 28,000.
Both offers are subject to increase based on the performance after the 3-month probationary period.
To qualify, you must be a BEED or BSED graduate with or without Masters Degree. PRC License is also not required.
Those with Professional Certifications such as ESL, TOEFL, and IELTS are preferred but not required.
You must have at least 2 years experience teaching at a regular school or language center, with strong written and oral English skills, and you must be able to teach different subjects using the English language. You should also be able to work or teach different age groups from 2 and a half years old to 12 years old students.

What to Expect during the Final Interview
After you have been shortlisted, you’ll be scheduled for your final interview. There is no schedule of the final interview but you must be prepared if you want to have higher chances of getting hired.
The morning schedule starts at 8 o’clock. The applicant must personally go to the agency’s office, where you will have a Skype interview with the employer.
The afternoon schedule starts at 1 o’clock. Only selected applicants from the morning session will have the chance to do demo teaching of any topic for 10-15 minutes.
A proficiency test will be administered at around 4PM to shortlisted applicants.
