TESDA Language Courses
If you are planning to enroll a Foreign Language Course, TESDA got you covered. They also offer different foreign language courses for free.
All you need to do is visit any accredited school or language skills institute that offer it.
The available language course include Nihongo, Mandarin, English, Spanish, Arabic, and Korean. The duration can be found below:
- Basic Arabic Language and Saudi / Gulf Culture – 100 hours
- Basic Chinese Language (Mandarin) and Culture – 100 hours
- Basic English Language – 100 hours
- Basic Japanese Language (Nihongo) and Culture – 150 hours
- Basic Korean Language and Culture – 100 hours
- Basic Spanish Language – 100 hours

TESDA Courses for High School Undergraduate
TESDA only accepts students who have at least finished High School.
If you’re still a High School Undergrad and you’re really interested to take a TESDA Course, you must finish your High School studies first.
Once you graduated from High School, you can enroll at TESDA and choose the course that you like best.
TESDA Courses for Abroad
A lot of Filipinos take TESDA Courses in the hopes that they would eventually be able to work abroad.
Good thing most of the courses offered at TESDA are in demand abroad like Agriculture, Food processing, Carpentry, Housekeeping, Slaughtering operations, Caregiving, Bartending, and Welding.
Agriculture, Housekeeping, and Caregiving are in demand in Japan.
Carpentry, Automotive and Welding are in demand in New Zealand and Canada.
Tourism graduates have a chance of employment in Singapore and Macau.
Caregivers and housekeepers who are open to be hired as Domestic Helpers have a lot of opportunities in Hongkong and Middle East countries.
There are plenty of job opportunities abroad when you finished a TESDA course.

When you have enough years of work experience then, that’s the time you should apply for work abroad in respective POEA accredited manpower agencies.
How Long Does it Take to Complete a Tesda Course
Tesda Courses completion timeline depends on the course and the school where you are going to take it.
It’s best to do your research by contacting and inquiring at the schools before you enroll in any TESDA course.
If you prefer to enroll in TESDA Online courses, you can take it and finish it at your own pace and time. If you are a fast learner, you will be able to finish one course within 2 weeks.
Afterward, you can visit a TESDA assessment center so you could take the competency exam. If you passed, you will get a National Certificate (NC).
Foreign language courses can be completed ranging from 100 to 150 hours depending on the language you want to study.
Tesda Course Tuition Fees
If you’re taking the TESDA Online Courses, it’s completely free.
But if you’re taking an On-Site TESDA Course, the tuition fee depends on the course and the school where you’re going to take it.
It’s best to inquire directly at the school or institution to get the most updated tuition fee rates.
