Have you submitted your application for UMID Card but have no idea when you’re going to receive it?
Don’t worry, you can verify the status of your UMID Card Application by sending an email to the SSS Identity Management Department at idcpd@sss.gov.ph.
Just indicate in your email your complete name, 10-digit SS number and the date of your ID application.
Also, indicate in the subject field ‘Thru Facebook‘.
Why is the production and delivery of UMID card delayed?
Many SSS members who have applied for UMID card have complained that they haven’t received their UMID cards yet after several months of waiting.
Normally, the UMID card is supposed to be delivered to the SSS member’s address after 4-6 weeks, but there has been an issue with the processing and production of the UMID cards that caused its delay.
According to an advisory posted by the Philippine Social Security System on May 10, 2017,
“The delay in the processing of UMID card applications is due to the stoppage of the Central Verification System (CVS) supervised by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). CVS operation stopped due to high temperature problem in the Data Center of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) where the PSA keeps the CVS.”
So, if you haven’t received your UMID card yet, we suggest that you send your inquiry directly to idcpd@sss.gov.ph so that they can verify the status of your card application and the estimated schedule of delivery.
Who can get or apply for UMID Card?
UMID is short for Unified Multi-Purpose ID Card.
If you are an SSS member with at least 1 valid contribution on your SSS account, you can apply for UMID Card.
You can do this by submitting the UMID Card Application form to the nearest SSS office or branch with UMID Card Enrollment Facilities.
How to Apply for UMID Card?
The UMID is considered as a valid ID and it would be very useful when getting documents or when doing transactions with the government and other institutions.
Here are the simple steps to get or apply for UMID card.
- Get a copy of the UMID Card Application form by downloading it online or by going to the nearest SSS branch.
- Fill out the form with all the required information.
- Submit the form together with all the other requirements including your valid ID/s and a copy of your SSS E1 form for verification.

ask ko lang po kasi last 2019 july nag apply po ako ng UMID id ,kaso last week po ng july naka alis ako pa abroud panu ko po ma recieve ung id ko.
